About
Deep water, clearly charted.
To make enterprises confident in the software built in their name — by defining the right obligations and proving, with evidence, whether they are met.
What Pelagram is
Pelagram is an independent technical assurance firm. When an enterprise has business-critical software built — by a contracted firm or its own delivery team — we represent the owner: we define the obligations the delivery must meet — security, data sovereignty, recovery, reliability, performance — and verify, with evidence, that it meets them, through the build and into production.
For enterprises that have business-critical software built — by contracted firms or their own delivery teams — Pelagram is the independent assurance partner that defines the obligations a delivery must meet and verifies — with evidence — that it meets them, through the build and into production. We represent the owner, not the build.
The closest real-world analogue is a marine classification society — Lloyd's Register, DNV: the independent surveyor who certifies a vessel seaworthy on behalf of the owner and the insurer, never the shipyard that built it. That is Pelagram's posture toward software delivery.
Values
What we hold to.
-
01
We act for the owner
We are independent of the builder — no delivery to defend, no margin on the build, no bias toward more scope. Our only interest is the enterprise that hired us.
-
02
Soundings before sail
We measure before we conclude. Every finding traces to evidence; every recommendation traces to a finding. We never grade a delivery on the builder's word.
-
03
Right-sized obligations
The standard of care is scoped to the business case — proportionate to what's at stake, never boilerplate. Enough assurance for the risk, and no theater beyond it.
-
04
Clear signal
Plain language is a deliverable. If a report can't be understood by the board, acted on by the owner, and defended to the delivery team, it isn't finished.
-
05
Leave the owner in command
We transfer capability, not dependency. Success is an enterprise better able to govern its builders — with the standards, scorecards, and evidence to keep holding them to account.
The name
Pelagram joins pelagus — the open sea — with gram, that which is written: a record, a measurement. A system built by someone else is deep water, and Pelagram is the independent record that tells you whether it will hold. We take the soundings and keep the watch — for the owner, not the build.

Who we work with
The owners of a business-critical software build — CIOs, CTOs, programme and delivery directors, heads of technology, and the vendor-management, procurement, and technology-risk functions accountable for it — whether the delivery team is a contracted firm or the enterprise's own.
Boards, audit and risk committees, and investors who need independent technical evidence about a system they're accountable for but didn't build — pre-go-live gates, post-incident review, contract disputes.
Working with enterprises that build business-critical software in financial services, health, public sector, insurance, and logistics.
